How do I create a field?

What is a field?

A field is simply a collection of sensor stations & base stations.

How do I add a field?

Step 1: Go to the Fields page & click green plus sign in the bottom right corner. 

Step 2: Name field & enter irrigation information.

After you click the plus sign, you'll see the dialog box shown below, where you can name your field & record the type of irrigation you use. 

If you have trouble remembering where your hardware is located, click the View Map button in the upper right corner of the page. 

Once you're finished naming the field & recording your irrigation system, click Next.

Step 3: Select hardware to include in field. 

Select the sensor station(s) that are in your field, then click Next.

Then select the base station that's in your field & click Finish.

The new field will show up on the Fields page, along with any other fields you already created.
